Trust and data stewardship

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Important campaign responsibility

Each candidate or campaign organisation decides why supporter and field data is collected and is responsible for collecting it lawfully, keeping it accurate, limiting access, and honouring consent or opt-out choices. CampaignMasta provides the software used to manage that data.

Information handled by CampaignMasta

The service may hold account and team details, campaign geography, supporter and influencer contact details, political support or follow-up information, consent records, event attendance, messages and delivery records, tasks, incidents, polling-place reports, financial and resource records, uploaded evidence, device synchronisation data, and security or audit logs.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide campaign coordination, authorised communications, field-team management, reporting, polling-day operations, support, billing, service security, abuse prevention, auditability, and legal or regulatory record keeping. It is not to be used for intimidation, unlawful discrimination, voter inducement, or contact after a recorded opt-out.

Access and sharing

Campaign records are available only to authorised users according to their campaign role and assigned geography. Information may be processed by infrastructure, messaging, email, storage, monitoring, and support providers needed to operate the service. It may also be disclosed when lawfully required. Campaign data is not sold.

Retention and deletion

Campaign administrators should establish a documented retention schedule before collecting data. Records are retained while the service is active and for the period needed for security, billing, election reporting, dispute handling, or other lawful obligations. Requests for export, correction, restriction, or deletion are assessed against those obligations and the campaign’s instructions.

Security

CampaignMasta uses access controls, campaign separation, audit trails, encrypted network transport, backups, and operational safeguards appropriate to the deployment. No system is risk-free. Users must protect passwords and devices, grant the least access needed, report lost devices promptly, and avoid exporting sensitive records to unmanaged locations.

Contact and complaints

For a supporter record, first contact the candidate or campaign that collected the information. For service privacy or security enquiries, email get@campaignmasta.com. Include enough detail to identify the campaign and request, but do not email unnecessary sensitive records.

Policy changes

This policy may change as the service, providers, or applicable requirements change. Material updates will be dated here and should be reviewed by each campaign before continued collection or use.
